Grayson Brown expands the background and understanding of John 3: 16, a familiar passage to all of us. He gives the history of the Gospel of John and the people for whom it was written. John refers to Jesus as the Word of God and the Light of the Word. John emphasizes the love of the Father for the Son AND the love of the Father for each one of us.
