Kathleen Lizardi-Calhoun shares with us her book, “Spirit Driven” A Collection of Song Lyrics and Poems, Volume I. As a lyricist, writer and poet, Kathleen discovered her gift from everyday life circumstances. These events drew her closer to God and she journals her revelations from God through her writing so we can share in God’s answers to all of us. Kathleen wishes for her book to be a source of hope and encouragement to everyone. As life deals many unwanted situations, we must maintain faith when fear drives our actions. This requires a paradigm shift that allows God to transform us spiritually into newness of life. God has given us many emotions and the choices we make are generally between fear and faith. Kathleen challenges us to choose faith to find peace when living through any storm. In this way, we acknowledge that “God is accessible, even through a whisper.” Our prayers matter and taking time alone opens our hearts to hear the voice of God.
