Advocacy for Creation

Jack Knight interviews Mary Ann Vincent , an activist to abolish the death penalty. When a murder is committed, some push for the death penalty and others oppose it. The brother of Mary Ann Vincent was murdered so she has first-hand experience of what effect murder has on the family. She was struck by the phrase: “forgive us as we forgive others….” She explains the expenses of executing someone versus putting the person in prison for life.

Jack and Mary Ann then discuss the 1982 film, Gandhi, and his belief that it takes a strong person to be nonviolent.
