This really happened to John Aquilar, Jr. In this interview, John relates the story to Fr. Mike including the fact that the man actually stabbed John in the side. This event happened after he came back from Vietnam.
John suffered massive injuries to his body, had many, many operations, and spiraled out of control for a time.
His doctor didn’t give us and helped him to recover. It was no less than a miracle.
