She tells the story of how she, her husband, and small child went to Thailand for three years and were changed by the experience.
Now she helps run two organizations, Lay Mission Helpers and Mission Doctors Association, that help train individuals and families to serve in other countries for an extended period of time. Elise discusses the challenges but also the rewards of doing this.
