What do you do when you don’t know where to go? When things are so bad that there doesn’t seem to be a way out? Maybe that’ s when we need to cry out “Mercy, Mercy!”.
As Fr. Mike says in this program, we want to be accepted, want a place where we are welcome. Sometimes we run into prejudice, non-acceptance, a feeling of rejection.
Fr. Mike tells the story when he first began his ministry in Mississippi and witnessed prejudice against others.
He shows how Jesus is the epitome of mercy, and reveals the Father of Mercy, through such stories as the “Prodigal Son”. He tells how love is more powerful than hate; mercy more powerful than evil.
